Meera Jasmine
Meera Jasmine is an Indian actress who appears in languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies. Meera was born in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala to Joseph and Aleyamma. She completed her schooling in Bala Vihar, Thiruvalla. Meera Jasmine had enrolled for a BSc degree in Zoology at Assumption College, Changanassery and completed nearly three months when she was spotted by Director Blessy and was offered a role.
Meera Jasmine made her first debut in the movie Soothradharan. Soon she started getting offers from other languages. He was offered a number of movies in the consecutive years, among which many of them was blockbuster hits. Meera Jasmine was also seen doing movies in languages like Tamil, Kannada and Telugu where acting was appreciated and she made her own stage within a short span in all the film industries where she worked due to her hard work.

Meera Jasmine has won the National Award for Best Actress for the movie Padam Onnu: Oru Vilapam in the year 2004. She also received the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actress in the year 2003 for the movie Padam onnu: Oru Vilapam and in the year 2007 for the movie Ore Kadal. The Tamil Nadu State Film Awards also crowned her with the Tamil Nadu State Film Award (Special Prizes) in the year 2005 for the movie, Kasthuri Maan. The Tamil Nadu Government also gave her Kalaimamani Award in the year. Meera Jasmine has received a series of various other awards and other nominations for her acting talent that she has depicted in the film world.
